Att muntra upp en dassig dag med macarons känns lite klyschigt. Men bakom alla klyschor finns en sanning, eller i det här fallet två: Macarons är goda att äta. Macarons är fina att titta på. Den kombinationer är väldigt bra för humöret. Så i går tittade jag förbi Financier Patisserie (983 First Avenue, hörnet 54th Street). Det är en bakverkskedja som finns lite överallt i stan. Fina kaffeburkar har de också.

ENGLISH: To brighten a grey day with a bunch of macarons may sound like a cliché. But behind all clichés lies a truth, or in this case two: Macarons are delicious. Macarons are beautiful. A combination that is very mood elevating. So yesterday I stopped by Financier Patisserie (983 First Avenue, at 54th Street). They have a couple of places throughout New York. The coffee cans are cute too.
