Veckans butik är Moo Shoes (78 Orchard Street, mellan Broome och Grand) för att de har världens största utbud av veganska skor och accessoarer. Allt är alltså garanterat skinnfritt, vilket är svårt att tro vid första ögonkastet, och enligt hemsidan sker en stor del av produktionen i fackanslutna fabriker i Västeuropa, USA, Kanada och Australien. Produkterna i syntetiskt fuskskinn – plånböcker, skor, väskor, med mera – är väldigt välproducerade och priserna är därefter. Modegraden lämnar fortfarande lite mer att önska, men jag tror att det bara är en tidsfråga. Till exempel blev jag väldigt sugen på de där skorna till höger i skyltfönstret (svart fuskmocka med turkosa och gröna detaljer, tror de kostade typ 239 dollar). Moo Shoes har också en webshop som skickar internationell (25 dollar till Europa).

Everything is animal-free, which is hard to believe at first glance, and according to the website a big part of the production takes place in union factories in Western Europe, Australia, Canada and the US. The products in synthetic leather – wallets, shoes, bags – are very well produced and the prices are thereafter. Fashionwise there’s still a little more to wish for, but I’m positive it’s on its way. I totally fell for the shoes to the right in the window (black ”suede” with green and turquoise details, I think they were like 239 bucks). Moo Shoes also have a webshop and ship internationally.
