I går kväll åt jag den kanske bästa veggieburgaren någonsin, på Northeast Kingdom (18 Wyckoff Avenue) i Bushwick. Bönor, avocado, sallad och gott bröd, mmm, tänker på den fortfarande. Enligt sällskapet är även köttburgaren ah-mazing, liksom ankan. Inspirationen hämtar ägarna – ett par – från uppväxten bland hjortar och bondgårdar i Vermont och menyn är anpassad efter säsongens råvaror (med fokus på lokalodlat och ekologiskt såklart, vi befinner oss ju i Brooklyn). Jättemysigt och gott!

ENGLISH: Last night I had what might well be the best veggie burger ever at Northeast Kingdom (18 Wyckoff Avenue) in Bushwick. Beans, avocado, salad and a nice bun, mmm, I’m still thinking about it. According to my company the meat burger is also ah-mazing, as is the duck. The owners – a couple – find their inspiration ”in the farming communities and deer camps of their native Vermont” and the menu changes according to the seasons (focus is on local farms and organic food, of course, we are in Brooklyn after all). Such a cute, friendly place and such a delicious meal!
