Hurra för Taco Tuesday! Jag och Jenny hade en date på Taqueria Lower East Side (198 Orchard St, vid Houston), ett litet trångt ställe på Lower East Side. Gott; guacamole, cactustaco och margarita. Men, med risk för att låta som en tant, alldeles för hög musik. Gick knappt att prata och tror det bidrog till den stressade och stressande servicen.

ENGLISH: Hurray, Taco Tuesday! Me and Jenny had a date at Taqueria Lower East Side (198 Orchard St, at Houston), a small, crowded place on the Lower East Side. Yummy: guacamole, cactus taco and margarita. But, with the risque of sounding ancient, the music was way to loud. We could barely talk and I think that’s what made the service so stressed.

Sen Ã¥kte vi vidare till Ace Hotel, där Tavi Gevinson hade fest tillsammans med Advanced Style. Ni har väl inte missat hennes nya fashion/feminist-tidning Rookie?! Love love. Det började bra med att Rodarte-systrarna hoppade in i vÃ¥r taxi, *starstruck* (men inte sÃ¥ld pÃ¥ deras vÃ¥rkollektion). Tavi sÃ¥g glad och bekväm ut och alla var sÃ¥ fina. PÃ¥ Manhattan handlar mode mycket om pengar och att ”vara snygg”, sÃ¥ jag blir lycklig av minsta lekfullhet. Som konstnären Ilona Royce Smithkin som sjöng för oss.

ENGLISH: Then we continues to Ace Hotel, where Tavi Gevinson threw a party with Advanced Style. I hope you haven’t missed her new fashion/feminist-magazine Rookie?! Love love. It started good with the Rodarte sisters jumping into our cab, *starstruck* (but not swept away by their spring collection). Tavi looked happy and relaxed and everyone was very pretty. In Manhattan fashion is so much about money and ”looking good”, so any kind of playfulness makes me smile! Like the artist Ilona Royce Smithkin who sang for us.
