Veckans butik, St Marks Bookshop (31 Third Avenue, mellan 8e och 9e gatan), är en riktig East Village-klassiker. Men nu riskerar den här fina fristÃ¥ende bokaffären att stängas! Här kan man skriva pÃ¥ ett upprop för att Cooper Union inte ska höja deras hyra, gör det tycker jag. I söndags gick jag därifrÃ¥n med Kathryn Stocketts ”The Help”, bra! (Men vet inte om jag vÃ¥gar gÃ¥ och se filmen…)

ENGLISH: This weeks shop, St Marks Bookshop (31 Third Avenue, between 8th and 9th street), is a real East Village classic. But now this wonderful independent book store is in danger of closing! You can sign a petition for Cooper Union not to increase their rent here, please do! I was there on Sunday and left with Kathryn Stockett’s ”The Help”, good. (But I don’t know if I’ll dare go see the movie…)
