Ã…h, sakerna man ser i New York! I gÃ¥r fann jag mig i sällskap med Elin i en källare i Meatpacking. Stället – GunBar (55 Gansevoort S) – gjorde sitt bästa för att se ut som en sliten industrilokal i Bushwick och bakom micken stod Krister Linder. Ringer ingen klocka? Jag säger: Ingen kan älska som vi (ni mÃ¥ste kolla klippet! Annika Jankell!). MÃ¥nga artister drömmer om att skapa sin egen genre, och med sina nya lÃ¥tar mÃ¥ste man nog säga att han lyckats. Jag och Elin enades om ”elektronisk fantasyfilm-triphop med hÃ¥rdrocksdrag”. LÃ¥t oss säga att smeknamnet ”Chris Lancelot” känns logiskt. Vi var nÃ¥got, eh, skeptiska. Dock att soundtracket till Metropia (bra film!) är strÃ¥lande.

ENGLISH: Oh, the things you see in New York. Yesterday I found myself in a basement in Meatpacking together with Elin. The place – GunBar (55 Gansevoort S) – did its best to look like a rough industrial building in Bushwick and behind the mike stood Krister Linder. This might not say a lot to you guys, but with this song he was a big deal in Sweden in the 80′s. A lot of artists dream of creating their own musical genre, and with his new work Krister might have succeeded. Elin and I settled on ”electronic fantasy film trip hop with a splash of metal”. Let’s just say that his nickname Chris Lancelot makes a lot of sense. We were, eh, skeptical… But the soundtrack to Metropia (great movie!) was really good.
